Sheer-tastic or Sheer Madness? The sheer clothing trend continues for Fall

Fashion has been rather “normal” this last season with one exception: sheer clothing.  A sheer blouse here and there really isn’t a surprise.  In the past it would be layered with a camisole, tank top or at least a nude colored under layer.  Today, however, we can’t even begin to tell you how often, in the last week, pictures of celebrities with only a sheer top or sheer clothing have come across our desk. Luckliy, for fall many sheer fashions are being worn with fur vests or fun sweaters.

We agree some of the bras we wear are so beautiful they should be shown but not out to dinner, in the airport or out shopping.  Please ladies, step to a window and take a double take before you step out into sunlight or in front of a flashbulb. 

As for the everyday lady, the one who runs errands, plays with kids, has a career or finds herself enjoying retirement…if you dare to try the sheer blouse consider a solid bra or a pretty tank.  It is possible to be fashionable without being inappropriate.  And a quick tip; Strappy’s bra straps look fabulous under a sheer blouse.  We recommend you stick with our beaded bra straps or fabric bra straps as the rhinestone jewelry straps have the potential to snag a light fabric.
