Strappy’s owner, Allison Mercer, watched her own mother lose a battle with lung cancer and pass away 10 short months after her diagnosis. She watched a best friend bravely and beautifully win her battle with breast cancer. Some friends have fought the cancer battle and lost, and some are still fighting today.
